These Terms govern your purchase and use of digital products (the "Products") sold by Paragon Framework ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using a Product, you agree to these Terms.
Our Products are application templates delivered as digital downloads, consisting of source code, a reference backend, an admin dashboard, and documentation. They are development starting points intended to be customized by you. Features shown in our demo are for demonstration and include simulated data and mock services that you replace with your own.
"Source code" means the human-readable code of a Product in its original or modified form. It does not include a compiled, minified, bundled, or deployed application build. An "Application" is a compiled or deployed product you build using a Product.
Each Product is provided under the license included in the download
(LICENSE.md), which is the authoritative version. In summary, a
purchase lets you build and ship unlimited Applications for
yourself, your company, or your clients, and modify and rebrand the Product
freely. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or
publish a Product's source code itself as a template, starter kit, or
similar product, nor make the source code publicly accessible.
Products are licensed, not sold. We (and our licensors) retain all right, title, and interest in the Products, including intellectual property, except for the rights expressly granted in the license. You own the code you write and the Applications you build. Third-party open-source components remain under their own licenses.
Payments and downloads are processed by the third-party marketplace or payment platform through which you purchased (the "Marketplace"), which acts as the merchant or seller of record and whose own terms also apply to the transaction. Delivery is electronic and typically immediate after payment. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.
Because the Products are downloadable source code that cannot be "returned" once accessed, all sales are generally final. However, we want you to be satisfied: if a Product is materially not as described or does not function as documented, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will work with you to fix the issue or provide a refund at our discretion. Refunds are handled through the Marketplace you purchased from and are also subject to that Marketplace's refund policy and any rights you have under applicable law.
We actively maintain and improve our Products. When we release an updated version of a Product you have purchased, you may download it at no additional cost through your original purchase, for as long as we continue to offer that Product. We may add features, fix issues, and update dependencies over time. We do not, however, commit to any fixed release schedule, and we may change, discontinue, or stop maintaining a Product or specific features. Updates are delivered through the Marketplace you purchased from.
We provide support on a reasonable best-effort basis, as described on the purchase page, for setup and documented functionality. Support does not include building your custom features, integrating third-party services on your behalf, or fixing issues caused by your modifications. We may change or discontinue support at any time.
The Products document optional integrations with third-party services (for example map, payment, or push-notification providers). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and pricing, and is your responsibility. The Products run without them using built-in demo behavior.
Your license to a Product terminates automatically if you materially breach these Terms or the Product's license. On termination you must stop using the Product and delete all copies of its source code. Applications you lawfully built and shipped before termination are not affected, but you may not use the Product to build new ones.
These Terms grant no right to use the "Paragon Framework" name, logo, or trademarks. You may not use them to endorse, promote, or imply affiliation with your Applications without our prior written consent.
The Products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for testing and validating any application you build and ship.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to a Product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights you may have where you live.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Purchases are governed by the version in effect at the time of purchase.
